WELCOME

My name’s Ms. Lady Priestess but you can call me Miss Lady for short!

I bring a varied background in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, somatic practice, qigong, socio-emotional learning, positive psychology, spiritual coaching, arts education, rootwork, tarot and more! These studies culminate in my work as Miss Lady. Instead of trying to cover every aspect of my practice by giving myself a long GOT-style title, I choose to go by the neutral name of Miss Lady Priestess. This allows me to do what I do best—provide a safe and trusted space for my clients to unpack personal insights, discuss emotional shifts, review exercises that could support them, and intentionally step in and out of my work with care.

My Practice

My gift has always been in shining a light on whatever is hiding in the shadow or unconscious. As a Scorpio, I love this work and have spent years doing it within myself. During readings, information can come in through many channels—visions, physical sensations, channeling, knowing, etc. I use this information to complement what your cards reflect. The beautiful thing about tarot is that at its root, it is a mirror of your subconscious. I’m simply the messenger.

What to Expect

You may hear me call magic small science — I believe they are not so different and I see science and spirituality as two ways of speaking the same truth. As a former skeptic, I love helping clients grasp spiritual concepts through familiar modalities that make the work much more accessible.

Sometimes your “team” (guides, ancestors, or other powers that be) will step forward. I will always share those messages with care.

I often weave music into sessions too, so don’t be surprised if you leave with a list of songs alongside your reading.

Clients often arrive with a specific question about love, money, or career but readings sometimes reveal deeper roots: emotional patterns, unresolved relationships, or hidden beliefs shaping those areas. Whatever comes through, it’s shared with compassion and in service of your growth, alignment, and transformation.

I believe transformation happens in the everyday — in the patterns we break, the timelines we step into, and the moments we decide differently. My approach integrates grounded psychological tools with intuitive tarot insights, so you not only understand where you are, but also where you want to go and how to get there with intention.

Tarot is never final. Energy is always shifting, and readings are meant to provide clarity and perspective in the present, not dictate your future. You always have choice, even in how you walk yourself to those sticky destined or fated points.

Who I Am

I am proudly biracial, queer, and neurodivergent. As a woman of African-American and Irish descent, my practice leans on the traditions of my ancestors, including hoodoo.

I’m also an artist (musician, writer, and actor) and I often work in drag and burlesque spaces where ritual, performance, and transformation meet.

Fun fact: ‘The Lady’ is a similar archetype to the 'High Priestess’ in Witchcraft, so my name is kind of like saying ‘Chai Tea’ or ‘ATM Machine.’

FAQs

What is Pendulum Work?

A pendulum is a divination tool I use to connect with my spiritual “team” and bring clarity to your Yes/No questions. Sometimes your own team comes through as well — and then it’s a real party!

What is Rootwork?

Rootwork is Hoodoo. Different than Voodoo! Hoodoo is an African American folk spiritual tradition that developed among enslaved Africans and their descendants in the United States. Rooted in West and Central African spiritual practices, it also incorporates influences from Indigenous and European traditions due to the blending of cultures during the transatlantic slave trade. Hoodoo is deeply connected to nature and community, drawing on the use of herbs, roots, oils, minerals, and candle work. At its core, it is a practice of protection, resilience, healing, and empowerment.

I’m new to all of this and I’m nervous!

I totally get it! I grew up around strict religion that made me fearful of even touching a tarot deck until my early 20s. Everyone finds their own path to practice and belief in their own time. I’ve read for many clients who came in genuinely concerned, only to breathe easier once they experienced how light, affirming, and validating a reading can be.

What I can say with certainty is that there is nothing “dark” or “devilish” about Rootwork, Tarot, or similar practices. The only thing that might feel a little spooky is meeting your own shadow in a reading — and that’s nothing to be afraid of.

Will I always get a direct answer to the question I ask?

While you may come in with one question, the cards sometimes want to address something different first — often a deeper layer that ultimately connects back to your original concern. For example, if you’re worried about that special someone who can’t commit, the cards may instead highlight the pattern they represent, your role in the dynamic, and how you can shift to invite in something more aligned.

Pricing of Services?

My goal is to keep pricing accessible for those seeking my services while also honoring the value and time that goes into my work. I often run promotions, and returning clients receive a special referral discount.

Cancelations & Refunds

Life happens! If you need to cancel before your session, you’ll receive a full refund. After a session has been completed, I don’t offer refunds — but I’m always happy to hop on a quick call to help clarify anything that feels unclear. More than once, a client has left feeling confused only to realize a week or two later that everything made perfect sense as it unfolded.
